Welcome to Kiosk1and2.org

Kiosks are a wonderful invention. You can live your life the geometric way framed within a diametric ellipsoid composition designed to make things better. Kiosks 1&2 are two buildings amongst a set of enclosures created for Dudley Zoo in the United Kingdom in 1937 by the Russian architect Berthold Lubetkin and his young architects group Tecton.

Folowing on from their initial exploration into the zoo architecture for a project entitled What are the senses? Gavin Wade mit Simon & Tom Bloor have taken the kiosks 1&2 and are metaphorically running with them, introducing a series of kiosks to places far and wide in order to create a vision of the world tamed, not with a fist, but with a kiosk.
Kiosks 3, 4, 5, 6 etc will not decorate life they will organise it.
